Providence Health Plan Celebrates Pride in Portland

Providence Health Plan (PHP) is thrilled to announce our participation in the Portland PRIDE Celebration & Parade! This year marks the first time PHP will have a booth at the event, which is the largest parade in Oregon and brings thousands of people into downtown Portland and is an opportunity for us to celebrate diversity, equity, and the LGBTQIA+ community.

PRIDE is more than just a celebration; it’s a movement that embodies the spirit of inclusion and acceptance. At PHP, we are committed to these values and to fostering a community where everyone feels valued and supported.

“Actively participating and supporting PRIDE in Portland is one important way we are able to share our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion,” says Regena Frieden, Chief Administrative Officer for PHP and executive sponsor for PHP’s LGBTQIA+ caregiver resource group. “This is a proud moment for Providence Health Plan, and we are excited to be part of such a significant and vibrant celebration.”
